This complex project consisted of
implementing a new content management system, (cms400.net) integration with two existing JPC web sites. This project was critical to stimulating the company’s growth and presence in the media industry. This was a very complex and challenging project, which was coupled with a very aggressive completion schedule; I was still able to manage an on-time delivery within budget constraints.
Instrumental in all online facets $500K marketing campaign that encompassed ad banners, e-newsletters, promotional forms and massive video advertising.
- Technical Lead for all technical support requirements, usability issues and critical site problems; and maintain site pages for EbonyJet.com, using CSS, VB.NET, JavaScript, and XML/XSL.
- Manage revamping EBONY and Jet websites to enhance users experience, retention time, streamline navigation, and increase ad revenue and sales.
- Design and implement the organization’s strategic systems architecture.
- Manage cross-functional project teams representing development, design, editorial, quality assurance, database administration, system administration and release management.
- Manage web tools for managing site structure, news data, and photos, using Perl and Java.
- Manage web traffic, oversees the development of web content, and maintains web server.
- Manage the content on Ebonyjet.com social network.
- Manage and coordinate the design efforts of third-party contractors in the development of advanced video features, content archival, photo galleries, and construction of a mobile WAP site.
