Where did the time go? We are now saying, “Goodbye,” to 2024 and will soon welcome 2025. A year full of new possibilities, new opportunities and hopefully, a little more revenue for our businesses. As we close out this chapter, I can’t help to take pause and look back to see just how far we’ve come this year. Some people say that it’s not good to dwell on the past but I’m a firm believer that taking a moment to reflect on lessons learned and even, victories won can actually position you for success in the future.
One of my wins this year was launching my, “Wine Down Wednesdays” social networking events in March 2024. Now, I had the idea for a while but put it on the back burner. I wondered, “Will people even attend?” or “Who should I ask?” Well, I am happy to say that this was one of my most rewarding business decisions because the mixers have allowed both seasoned and new entrepreneurs a safe place to learn from each other and even promote their businesses. How great is that?
The lesson learned from this experience is, “If you have a business idea, take the time to test it out.” You may not have all the answers in the beginning but if you act on it, there’s a chance you’ll find your answers and resources along the way.
I invite you to take a moment to reflect, pat yourself on the back for your hard work and position yourself for success in 2025. I’m ready to thrive in 2025. Hope you’ll join me.
